What a fantastic year 2013 has been at the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas as we celebrated our 50th Anniversary of serving the 8 ½ counties of our area!
Here are just some of the highlights:
- A record crowd of over 600 people celebrated with us at our 2013 Torch Award Banquet where we helped to contribute $50,000 in scholarships to our four area higher education institutions
- Over 450 business leaders attended our Lunch & Learn series with Bruce Hamilton – another record!
- Over 1900 Senior Citizens and Vendors participated in our Senior Celebration at the Civic Center.
- Over 5000 area students participated in one of our two educational initiatives – Laws of Life Essay Contest and In Pursuit of Ethics Program.
- In fact, over 11,000 people have attended and participated in BBB events this year all across our service area.
- Over 48,000 consumers visited our website each month searching for businesses they could trust – like yours.
Wow! What a year! And that was just the beginning! If you took advantage of any or all of the opportunities listed above, we know that you saw firsthand how the BBB can help your business become better. If you did not, I strongly urge you to take advantage of these and other low-cost or no-cost activities all designed to help you and your business in 2014.
