Carl Wood’s father, Carlton Wood, started Coastal Pools, Inc. on March 6, 1954, with his then business partner, Jack Gore. Coastal Pools has been serving Southeast Texas and the surrounding communities ever since. That’s more than 59 years!

From their humble beginnings at the little lodge on North Street, to their present location on Phelan Blvd., Coastal Pools has built and serviced close to 4,000 pools in the Beaumont and Golden Triangle area, as well as Houston and the surrounding areas. They have also built pools in Louisiana, Colorado, and New Mexico.

They have been building custom gunite pools with the same quality they always have. Several of the artisans have been crafting pools for Coastal Pools for almost 40 years! The rest have been well trained by these pool-sculpting masters.
