Automatic Pump & Equipment
BBB Accredited since 1963
Since 1946, Automatic Pump and Equipment Co. products and services have been contributing to the basic industrial needs of the Southwest. The experience they have is an integral part of everything they do and how they operate on a daily basis. In the early years, Automatic Pump specialized in the water well supply business, focusing on providing deep-well and shallow-well pumps to the well driller market. They began their evolution into an industrial engineering sales and service organization in the late 1950s with the Worthington Product line.
The metamorphosis was complete in 1968 with the completion of their present 12,500 square foot Beaumont, Texas, office/warehouse/fabrication shop facility. An additional 2,500 feet of warehouse space was completed in 1977. Over the years, Automatic Pump has established itself as one of the most reliable, quality-conscious suppliers of industrial equipment in the Southwest.
Today, Automatic Pump and Equipment Co. stocks complete lines of pumps, mechanical seals, controls, and an assortment of related industrial equipment for the oil refinery, production, petrochemical, paper and wood products, food and beverage, municipal, ship building, building trades, commercial and high tech industries in the Southwest. In addition, Automatic Pump’s customers are offered many before and after sales services vital to efficient equipment operation.
Customer service has remained a high priority for Automatic Pump and they aim for customers to be dealt with in a courteous and ethical manner. Employees seek to perform their respective duties in order to accomplish this intent. In addition to the Beaumont facilities, customers are served with sales offices in Dallas and Houston, Texas, and Lake Charles, Louisiana. The Beaumont location, stocking in excess of $1,000,000 in units, parts and related equipment, provides fabrication and warranty repair services, and houses their mechanical seal and packing division. Other locations have inventories and services geared to the needs of their territories.
Since 1968, Automatic Pump customers have benefited from the advantages offered by their modern 15,000 square foot office/warehouse/shop facility. Today, the shop can repair, rebuild or fabricate just about any type of pump. Their computer-controlled inventory of equipment and original factory repair and replacement parts assures that preventive maintenance can be performed before expensive downtime occurs.
