The 13th Southeast Texas SENIOR CELEBRATION and Consumer Expo, which was held on Thursday, November 1, at the Beaumont Civic Center, was a HUGE success! It was an exciting day for adults of all ages.
The Better Business Bureau wants to thank Home Instead Senior Care. Not only were they the event partner, but they also provided the ‘Senior Chauffeur’ with rides for the participants to and from the event. They also entertained the crowd with their version of “The Price is Right”; owner Charlie Holder was a great ‘Bob Barker’!
National singer/impressionist Kevin Adams and his “Revue of the Stars” was back on the main stage, sponsored again by TexanPlus. His unique one-man variety/comedy/musical tribute show included impressions of Sammy Davis Jr., Willie Nelson, Buddy Holly, Stevie Wonder, Sonny & Cher, Elvis, and more!
Another big thanks to CHRISTUS Hospital-St. Elizabeth who had Health Screenings available in the front lobby. Lobby sponsor, DuPont Goodrich Federal Credit Union, provided free credit checks and lots of fun with the DuGood Dog!
The Expo featured over 100 businesses, BINGO, a style show with JC Penney – Parkdale Mall, celebrity models, special presentations, refreshments, classic cars, a clown, door prizes, lots of valuable information, and fun!
