In the national BBB Sales Contest for 2011, the results are in!  The contest is based on new Accredited Business enlistments between August 1, 2011, and July 31, 2012.

In Category 1, the BBB in Southeast Texas is #1 in Individual Sales-New Accredited Businesses and #1 in Individual Sales – New Accredited Businesses Dues.  BBB Business Relations Consultant Bob Bates brought in 182 new businesses; his closest competitor brought in 170.  Nationwide against all BBB’s in every category, Bob is in the top 6%!

In Category 1, the BBB in Southeast Texas is #1 in Total New Accredited Business Sales and #1 in Total New Accredited Business Dues.  In the sales contest period, 246 new businesses became BBB Accredited; the nearest competitor brought in 231.

The BBB in Southeast Texas will be recognized and awarded at the BBB Centennial Assembly in Washington DC in late September for these performances.

Currently, there are over 1,800 businesses that are BBB Accredited in Southeast Texas!  The BBB is extremely proud of Business Relations Director Sharon Thompson and her team.
